How iDownsize Makes Money

1. Our Platform Is Free for Downsizers

Customers (downsizers) can:

• Use our AI planning tools
• Access property value estimates
• Compare service providers
• Use our Provider Network
• Unlock and connect with providers

There is no cost to downsizers to use the platform.

2. Service Providers Pay to Use the Platform

We earn revenue from service providers who choose to use iDownsize to connect with downsizers.

These may include:

• Selling agents
• Buyer’s agents
• Lawyers and conveyancers
• Financial advisers
• Mortgage brokers
• Removalists and other related services

3. Unlock Fees

When a downsizer chooses to unlock a provider’s profile and exchange contact details:

• The provider pays an Unlock Fee to iDownsize.
• The downsizer does not pay this fee.

This fee covers the cost of marketing, technology, and platform operation.

4. Marketing Services Fees (Agents)

If a property transaction occurs following a connection made through iDownsize:

• Selling agents and buyer’s agents may pay a Marketing Services Fee.
• This is typically calculated as a percentage of the property transaction value.
• The fee is paid by the agent — not the downsizer.

This fee reflects the marketing and introduction service we provide.

We do not act as a real estate agent, and we are not involved in the sale transaction itself.

5. Vendor Advocacy & Referral Income

In some cases:

• If a provider receives referral or introduction income connected to a customer introduced by iDownsize,
• A percentage of that income may be payable to iDownsize.

This does not increase the amount paid by the customer unless otherwise disclosed in writing.

6. Revenue Sharing (Non-Agent Providers)

For certain provider categories (non-agents):

• We may receive a referral or marketing share of their professional fee.
• This is typically a percentage of their fee.
• It does not increase the cost to the customer unless otherwise disclosed.

7 . No Paid Placement or Ranking Bias

We do not allow providers to:

• Pay for preferential ranking in search results;
• Pay for guaranteed recommendation by our AI tools.

Provider comparisons are based on objective criteria and user-selected filters.

9. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal data.

Information is shared with providers only when a downsizer chooses to unlock and connect.
