Risk-free property pitching to downsizers!

HIGHLIGHT: ‘Pitch fee’ becomes ‘unlock fee’ for agents

When pitching a suitable listing to a deal in iDownsize, there are three actions that the downsizer can take in response:

  1. They can ‘unlock’ access to the full listing (revealing their contact details to the agent)
  2. They can ask questions about the listing (whilst maintaining anonymity)
  3. They can reject the property (whilst maintaining anonymity)

In the original release of the iDownsize Real Estate Agent portal the agent was charged from credit balance upon the action of ‘pitching’ to the downsizer. This meant it was possible for the agent to incur a ‘pitch fee’, even if the downsizer rejected the pitch.

Although there is commercial value in pitching your vendor’s listing to a qualified buyer (the downsizer) regardless of the outcome, we had some negative feedback on this. Agents didn’t like the uncertainty, so we’ve made some changes.

Henceforth, the fee is now only charged upon ‘unlock’, not at the property pitching stage.  This means that agents on iDownsize now enjoy risk-free property pitching!

If the downsizer does not ‘unlock’ a property they are pitched, there is ZERO fee charged.

Benefits to agents:

  • Pitch properties for FREE, as many times as you want to different deals
  • Only get charged from your credit balance when a downsizer ‘unlocks’
  • Value-for-money lead generation, with fully-verified contact details
